There was a surprise for us!
This weekend never came to a stop. It was go go go until I could not go anymore. Thank goodness I got to enjoy the sunshine along the way!
Saturday I had the three boys. Hunter squared and the Bangarang. We had our Flag football game. Hunter did really well. They lost by 1 point yet again. The park was next. We played on the monkey bars and hung upside down like, well, monkeys. Me included. Then it was the indoor soccer dome for birthday party. The kids survived the aggressive games and came out with only a scratch or two. They told the stories of how they earned their wounds. The stories got bigger and bigger. The boo boos did not. The beach in Lake Stevens was our last venture for the day. Sally invited us over for some river fun. There were plenty of kids there along with a new little woman for Jameson to flirt with. She chased him everywhere. The boys swam, played football and ran their hearts out with the game of tag and hide-n-go seek. I was thankful when it was finally time to head home for some more food and playtime. It all came to rest at 10:00. They had to wait for Greg to get home. Jameson was off like a shot when he heard his truck pull in. Down the hall. Jumped on Greg's dirty legs with a huge hug. That made us both smile. He loves to come home to his full house. Hugs and kisses. Goodnight Moon!
Then it was an early Sunday. There was a surprise for us! Nawnie was home!! We went to Seattle to pick her up and then adventured our way back home. We stopped through Seattle for some fun and then again in Edmonds for some brunch. Waffles, Fruit, Muffins, Mac and cheese, Fish and chips...oh my! It was quite the set up we had. Hunter pulled out some Iceman moves. Cranky pants Maggee Bangarang ate all the grapes. Chatted. Funny. Giggles. Loves. So good to see my Seester! What a wonderful end to a wonderful weekend!
