A fishing we will go. A fishing we will go. Hi-ho to the dairy-o. A fishing we will go!
Jameson and I had company at the farm this morning. We headed out on the crisp fall morning to go fishing with Kaila, Luke (and Barbie) and Will at the farm. They have never been. It was exciting for all of us. Jameson had to show off the dump truck, tractor and baby cows. Then it was time to head for the pond for some fishing. A fishing we will go. A fishing we will go. Hi-ho to the dairy-o. A fishing we will go! Thank goodness for boots! Mud and water are very inviting to boys on the go. Squish squash. Into the boat. Poles out. "Here Fishy!" But...The fishing didn't last long. Remember now, We had 3 boys. Two 3 year olds and a 1 year old. And their attention spans were just that. So. Off like a the cows that roamed the filed, we took to adventuring. Baby cows were our 1st stop. Kaila hadn't been around them in years and could not wait to see lil Doey. She fell in loooooove. Then the "Big Boys" ran down to the barn to see Greg. Greg took them on a dump truck ride and a quick peek at the hay barn and cows. Jameson and Luke then were Tractor jumpers. They went from one to the next, Looking. Playing. Driving. Will, on the other hand, wanted to keep trying his luck on picking grass and feeding the moo moo's through the white fence. Crouched down. Coaxing the best way he knew how. Holding still. Arms outstretched. Wishing and hoping.
Jameson was in for his first sleep over with Kaila and the boys and could not wait to get there. Luke was anxious as well. He had been looking forward to it for days now. Asking and asking if it was Saturday yet. Saturday had finally shown its face and it was Sleepover Time!! Nothing like two very excited boys to put a smile on your face.
It was a day full of friends, fishing and farm fun!
He is welcome anytime!! We had so much fun!! Our new best friend!
