Hunter's Chickens and his adventure as an entrepreneur

April 21, 2012

Hunter had sent a bowl of eggs, cleaned and ready, to work with me for "Donations" in a mason jar. Hunter is saving for his horse saddle (mine is just a little too long in the stirrups, even at the top notch). Those eggs, all 3 dozen, went like hot-cakes! Hunter's Chickens and his adventure as an entrepreneur. He sold them all in one foul swoop and now there is a high demand from Keller Williams agents. A higher demand means we need more chickens. So...what did Hunter do? He took his first earnings and put them into...you guessed it... 6 chicks and 2 ducks! He is a smart boy. He has been out there all day, getting them situated. The new Ducks, Quakers and Ducky, are doing well with our chicks too. They are going to lay eggs that are great for baking (said the fellow chicken/Duck farmer at Strotz's to Hunter). Hunter is so proud of his investment. Soon he will be bringing in enough for that horse of his own and that saddle! Way to go Hunter! I'm so proud of you!

  1. Johanna, do you remember picking up our evil rooster just like this? He was a terrorist, sneaking up and spurring people, and you just picked him up and hugged him. You are lucky you still have your beautiful eyes!!! lol!
