A camping we will go
June 13th, 2015
It was a wonderful Friday night to be snagged from the house to travel over the North Cascades with my handsome man and my lil' Bangarang.
It was Jameson's first night camping in a tent that he can remember (I had taken him a lot when he was little...) and he could not get enough of it. Adventuring we went!
We set up camp and got started on the BBQ with the chicken ca-bobs that I prepped before we left and shoved in the big blue cooler with all the other crazy amounts of food we packed. We all sat at the picnic table next to the campfire and enjoyed the yummy dinner!
Next came late night camp scary stories (I think Jameson's were by far the best) and snuggles. Chris and I laughed at each other because our scary stories were so very terrible. But fun.
We started the BBQ up first thing in the morning for some bacon and sausage and filled our tummies just in time for some beach fun and our hike to the top of the days world. Jameson lead the way, making it clear that he has the energy of a 7 year old. Enjoying the view we went over what was our favorite parts of the hike. Tundra waited patiently to go back down. Jameson did not. off like a shot, down he went. Yelling for us along his way.
Such a wonderful first camping trip for us. Many more to come!
