Happy 5 months Waylon Boy!

Our Waylon Boy is 5 months and I can't accept that he will be 1/2 a year in 1 month!

We are loving this age so much:

-The giggles are very real when he get the tickle bugs out and tickle under his armpits and thighs.

-He may hate time on his tummy but he loves time on his back! He found his feet last week and can't get enough of them. In playing with those toes, he can roll over occasionally. 

-When he is on his hated tummy time he can get angry enough and roll himself over. This started a few weeks ago.

-He loves when we say I love you.

-After a long day of play, he loves his independence. We put him in our bed and he takes a long nap while watching a cartoon.

-He started eating baby food (other than rice cereal) and loves bananas, squash, and green beans. But, he'll eat just about anything! Pizza crust and biscatti are also a favorite.

-He loves when Mommy sings him to sleep with the lullaby "rest your head, little sleepy head" really close to him with her lips against his forehead. Instant night night.

-Bath time is a half an hour sash session with a side is squeezing and smiles.

-He needs absolutely no help with holding up his head.

-Nap time with his Daddy is always a hit. Those two are two peas in a pod!

-He continues to growl...when he's happy, sad, mad...playing. GROWL growl growl.

- He is in 12-18 months clothing comfortably. (9 months is pushing it!)

-His chicken feathers (hair) have come in, in a sandy blond and his eyes are bluer by the day.

-Car rides are getting better but Daddy's truck is by far, his favorite.

-When Mommy carries him around, he falls asleep riding her hip.

-He sits in his high-chair for his meals and it's always a fun place to play with his toys.
