Like a strike of lightning
It was a beautifully drizzly day in March. Saturday the 26th to be exact. I prayed the the rain would stop as we drove to Silvana to meet Lindsey for our photo shoot. Silvana farmlands stretched as far as the eye could see. Jameson pointed out the cows and Hunter remembered that he still wanted a goat.
5:00pm and I had a grumpy 3 year old and a 9 year old with his head in the clouds...but Lindsey managed, as always, to take some amazing pictures! Trains and tractors and cranes were a bit of a distraction and the boys had fun with all of the adventuring. Jameson ran for me like a strike of lightning when the train passed though. I think with how loud it was and how close we were (right next to the track, you could feel it through the ground) he didn't expect for that when I told him the train was coming. Excitement to fear. But then the pointing and the "train!" started up. The rain came and the shoot came to an end. I hoped for the best.
Thank you Lindsey!
