It was a perfect day to be Funhavers.
Today was full and somewhat overflowing with things to do and see. We started this drizzly fall morning with biscuits and gravy and cartoons. I looked out the window over and over. We had our family pictures with Lindsey, Photography By Lindsey, at 10:00 this morning. Please stop raining!
We went out to the Snow farm in Oso. Brent, Amanda and Riley joined us for today's photo event. Amanda and I both love Lindsey's photos. It was quite the event indeed.2 Families=7.
The farm was beautiful and you could just see the mountain tops peeking out of that heavy fog. The barn wood fences lined the fields. Chickens and Geese all around. Kids everywhere. Cowboy hats. Cowboy boots. Hunter's funny John Wayne pose against the barn. It was all fun and hectic all at the same time. Thank goodness for the M&M's Amanda brought as a treat for the boys being good. They worked until they just didn't work anymore. Boys will be boys.
We finished up the photo extravaganza and headed home.
Next! PUMPKIN HUNTING! Off to Foster's Farm we went. Jameson found himself some really funny gords and Hunter loved the white pumpkins. Soon we adventured through the maze. Through the pigs and chickens. Then it was time to grab a wheel barrow and pile the kids in for a ride down to the pumpkin patch. We were on the hunt for our perfect pumpkins. Turning. Poking. Trall-la-la-la-lalling all around looking for the pumpkin of our very own choice. Finally. Success. Time for ice cream!!
