Spontaneous doesn't fully explain our day but it sums up the afternoon perfectly

Surprise! I snagged my handsome man around 3:00 pm (YES, in the afternoon...) and took him for a Brat. 2 hours later we drove into Leavenworth with a big smile on both of our faces. Spontaneous doesn't fully explain our day but it sums up the afternoon perfectly! We walked hand in hand through the nearly empty streets, visiting a couple shops before sitting down for a yummy dinner in the sunshine. Sour kraut piled high on both of our dogs we made a mess. Laughter filled the air around us.

Next stop! I wanted a hike. So, a-hiking we went. From the top of the world we let it all set in. Quietly. Side by side. The view was fully enjoyed by both parties (insert giggle here).  

I don't think this evening could have turned out better. A much needed afternoon adventure, together. Perfect.
