Yes, I hit the big 34. I think 30 was the hardest. 34 has been quite amazing so far and I see it continuing into my (our) future. This kind of happiness in something that some people search for their entire lives.
"You were supposed to be in bed..." said Chris as he walked through the bedroom door holding a plate full of bacon and pancakes. I laughed as I spotted him in the bathroom mirror. "I didn't know!" I said smiling, while I was putting on my face for the day. I wrapped him up in my arms and told him I could get back into bed. I LOVE THIS MAN!!! Breakfast in bed? What a wonderful birthday surprise!!
I couldn't have asked for a better birthday night. Olive Garden was the craved destination and Chris made sure that happened. I was so lucky to spend my birthday night with my beautiful friends and family. Laughter went around the table as fast as the bread sticks. I sat and thought about how lucky I was in that very moment. Surrounded by the people I love. Rachel and Jacob brought their beautiful family, Emily, Mikie, Mom, and Patti joined the table...and My boys and Chris surrounded me. I am a very lucky girl.
