With the Waylon baby on his back, we found view after view
We haven't been everywhere, but it's on our list.
I think Mike said it best as we were saying goodbye after our long trip over the mountains.
"This baby is going to be well traveled."
Since Waylon was born, we have taken him, to what seems like, the ends of the earth.
This weekend was a long awaited getaway! Boomer and I packed up our life for the weekend and drove over the snow capped mountain for his wild fire training classes and a little family fun.
It's hard to think that in just a month (or even sooner) Chris will be in the midst of a burning wilderness.
Waylon and Mommy went exploring for the day, while class was going, and found some fun and interesting mountain roads. There were plenty of dandelion's' heads to pop off and roadside horseys to pet and talk to. There were Moo-cows and big read barns to gawk at. There was even a river to sit next to and hear it's story.
With Daddy soon back by our side, we opened our eyes, grabbed a couple coffees, and we traveled through the mountain trimmed roads and stumbled upon the perfect hike. With the Waylon baby on his back, we found view after view.
