Off to explore the rainforest and find those Vampires and Werewolves (DAY 1)

Day 1
Olympic National Park
Lake Crescent
Fair Holme Campground
As we approached our destination, the anticipated ominous mountain lined Crescent Lake took ahold of us. Our excitement grew as we pulled into out campground. We settled right in, both tents up. Our boys had ants in their pants making for a quick set up. Off to explore the rainforest and find those Vampires and Werewolves.

Hoh Rain Forest
It was as if we stepped out of the truck into another land all together. The ominous, moss filled trees surrounded us and the air felt warm, almost tropical. The trees towered over us, touching the skies with their long outstretched arms. We let out gasp after gasp at each new sight marked out on our map. We followed the Hall of Mosses and ended up taking the grand tour. There were just too many babbling brooks and perfect trees to climb. The forest put a spell on my boys and the adventure and fun began.
