I know the way, let me take you there

Mustic Mountain nursery and farm
Oso, WA
There was a very special place that I was lucky enough to grow up in. It brings me so much joy to share this place with my boys.
I had a very magical childhood filled with animals, pond fishing, adventuring, and occasionally being chased by a bull. There ate far too many things to list. You just have to believe me. Being a free range kid, I ran Oso as if it was my very own Tarabithia. I always had company, a small gang of kids if you will. We rode horses up the mountainside. We fished from the rivers and a beautiful pond. We made fort after fort, in any area we saw fit; even if it was in an abandon "haunted" house or under a bridge.
There was long blonde hair running through the fields on the bare back of a horse, daily.
Looking back, as an adult, I wish I would have tried harder to look around me. To take it all in, and not for granted.
