The giggles followed us down the field

The giggles followed us down the field as we ran past the pond. The new baby cow was born only minutes ago and the excitement had us down the dirt road. Down the field. "I see the baby mom!!" yelled the boys. Stopping. Pointing. There she was. The little, slimy, gooey baby girl. We stood and watched as she tried to stand. What a sight to see. Soon Greg loaded us up in the bucket of the tractor. Joe driving. Hunter and Jamers next to me. Feet dangling. Baby cow snuggled behind me. I held her tight while Greg shooed the mom along with us. Back to the barn. Safe and sound in their pen for the night. What a happy farm day. Milking. Visiting new and a smidgen older babies. Barn kitty. Dancing. Giggling. Fun having. It was a wonderful night full to the brim with teamwork and love.
