But we marched forward leaving with few bags but lots of laughs.

Saturday was just as I suspected. It was almost too much fun to be all held in one day.
My good friend Jen, after her long drive from Bellingham, met me here at home. Full of giggles I gave her the grand tour. She loved the warm and cozy Funhavers home. Cottage with a dash of Cabin esq'. Its very eclectic here. Bits of everything coming together to create a happy home,
We each took a couch. Gabbed about our itinerary. Coffee. Mall. Lunch. Smokey point Pawn shop. Off we went.
Hardley noticing the 40 minute drive with the music and the chatter...Nordstrom was our first stop. Parking came easy for us today. Then we hopped from store to store. Fitting room to fitting room. Both of us very particular in our choices. Also confused at today styles and trends. Some were a terrible mix of the 80's and fabric that Edward Scissor Hands put together and decided to Bedazzle. But we marched forward leaving with few bags but lots of laughs.
Anthony's located in the Port of Everett had us looking over the water for a late lunch. I think we sat and laughed for over 2 hours, seeming like only 10 minutes time. Fog took over our view slowly reveling "islands" and "Jetties". Giving us moments of "Clarity", leaving us in stitches with joke after joke.

It was a great day with a great friend. Cheers to girls days, shopping, late lunches and little talk of men!
