::Mr. Bojangles::

Our beautiful little boy was adopted about 2 months ago from Noah in Arlington, WA.
He was hiding. In a box with a hole in it. I kept coming back to him. Petting him. Talking with him. It stated clearly on his identification sheet that he was a year and a half old. He was scared of kids. He had been though 2 shelters before Noah. He loved chin rubs.
So, what did I do? I took him from his box and brought him along with my two little boys into the visiting room. He hid in my lap. Minutes went by and up went his head. The boys petting him, talking softly. Minutes more went by. Out he came. Rubbing on Hunter and Jameson for the rest of the visit. loving all of the attenton.

We all decided to take him home. Adopted for only $35.00!
We were and still are in love whit Mr. Bojangles. AKA "Kitty Kitty Meow Meow" Turns out he is very social, loves to talk your ear off and rolls around on his back like he is a dog. The kids love him and as do I. We are so glad we gave him a chance.
A silly little Funhaver indeed!
I knew a man Bojangles and he'd dance for you in worn out shoes
Silver hair, ragged shirt and baggy pants, that old soft shoe
He'd jump so high, he'd jump so high, then he lightly touched down
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance.
I met him in a cell in New Orleans, I was down and out
He looked to me to be the eyes of age as he spoke right out
He talked of life, he talked of life, laughing slapped his leg stale
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance.
He said the name Bojangles and he danced a lick all across the cell
He grabbed his pants for a better stance, oh he jumped so high and he clicked
up his heels
He let go laugh, he let go laugh, shook back his clothes all around
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance, yeah, dance.
He danced for those at minstrel shows and county fairs throughout the south
He spoke with tears of 15 years of how his dog and him but just traveled all about
His dog up and died, he up and died, and after 20 years he still grieves
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance.
He said I dance now at every chance at honky-tonks for drinks and tips
But most of the time I spend behind these county bars, cause I drink so bit
He shook his head, yes he shook his head, I heard someone ask him, please,
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance, dance, Mr Bojangles, dance.
